The KwaZulu-Natal Gambling Board has been established as a juristic person governed by the conditions as outlined in the KwaZulu-Natal Gambling Act No. 10 of 1996 as amended.

 The main objects of the Board as defined in the Act are as follows :-

  • Gambling authorized under this Act is conducted in a manner which promotes the integrity of the gambling industry and does not cause harm to the public interest;
     

  • Promotes the Provinces objectives for developing a gambling industry which helps in the promotion of tourism, employment and economic & social development.
